At your Maker Session anything goes, we will be your technicians to help you experiment or manifest your imagination however you please, or for guaranteed finished perfection you can follow one of our set designs.  Normally after the first hour we recommend you to finish all your steam-bending, and the rest of the session is focused towards getting a long-lasting professional looking oil finish and perfect assembly according to your vision.  If you are an artist or have other ideas your maker session can be used however you like; Maker Sessions in Cumbria happen at Charlie Whinney Studio, it is a professional artist's workshop with limited wood, metalwork, textiles and casting facilities right next to a forest where you can cut your own hazel; playtime for artists and designers!   Within the context of the overall event we will do our best to facilitate your plans...
